#1. District 1, Bui Vien Walking Street YUE YUAN SPA Barbershop Review
Yue Yuan Spa Barbershop is located near Bui Vien Walking Street in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. It is a newly opened place and is located a bit further from the city center than other competitors. There is trying to provide better service to fill the gap as it is at a disadvantage compared to others. Until June 2025, there is a great event where you can get a discount of 200,000VND if you make a reservation with "Hochiminh Gourmet" or "Mrs Anie", so I strongly recommend you visit before the event ends.
The shop itself is not very big and is cute. When you enter the store, you will immediately see a golden chair. You can sit there and wait for your turn while choosing the service you would like to receive.
After selecting the service combo you want from the menu, check the massage intensity and the services you want to receive, such as foot washing, nail care, and ear cleaning. If you want to receive all services, check the full service.
When it is your turn, follow the staff to the inside of the first floor to receive the foot washing service. There is also a golden chair here. You can sit down and receive the foot washing service.
The staff will thoroughly wash your feet and even exfoliate them if you want. I could feel that they put a little more effort into their foot washing service compared to other barbershops.
After the foot washing service is finished, you will be guided to the changing room. Here, you can change into massage clothes and put your clothes and valuables in the closet and lock it with a key.
You don't have to change into massage clothes, but since YUE YUAN SPA Barbershop uses oil for the massage, it is recommended that you change into it even if it is inconvenient.
After changing clothes, follow the staff to the massage room on the upper floor. Here, all services are provided in the following order: shave -> ear cleaning -> nail/toenail care -> massage -> shampoo. The curtains between the massage beds divide the space from other guests, allowing you to receive the service more comfortably.
There are also VIP rooms with only two massage beds, so you can enjoy it privately with your group by adding only 100,000VND to the service fee. The difference from other barbershops is that they use oil for the massage and focus a little more on the massage than other services, so for those who want to get a proper massage at a barber shop, YUE YUAN SPA barbershop is a good choice.

YUE YUAN SPA's service is similar to other barbershops in Ho Chi Minh City, with a basic 90-minute service(Combo 2) priced at 500,000VND.
