#1. District 2, Thao Dien Casual Dining CHIIK Steak & Pasta Review
The casual dining CHIIK Steak & Pasta operates stores in Thao Dien, District 2, and Phu My Hung, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. This restaurant is popular among young locals because of its cost-effective combo menu that allows you to enjoy both steak and pasta at once. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the food is delicious, making it a great place for young couples to visit.

I visited the restaurant without a reservation at 5pm on Sunday to dine alone, but they said that all reservations after 6pm were full and that I could only dine for one hour. The atmosphere of the restaurant was quite nice, and the food was reasonably priced and delicious, so it seemed like a lot of young locals visited.

I ordered a Suntory Highball as a drink, but unlike the highballs I drink at Japanese restaurants like izakaya, it was too sweet and not to my taste. It had a citrusy aroma and sweet taste with a moderate alcohol content, so I thought it would suit women's tastes well.

I ordered Tiger draft beer right away. They do sell wine, but since it's a casual restaurant, there wasn't much to order, and Tiger draft beer seemed like the safest option.

I ordered a combo menu and they brought out puree soup first. It wasn't anything special, but it was a smooth soup made with various vegetables and was good as an appetizer.

I ordered the Combo Menu Striploin Steak for my meal, which came in a large tray with steak, pasta, french fries, tortilla, salad, and three sauces, along with radish & cucumber pickles. It was a large enough portion for a man to eat, and I was able to make a kebab by putting the salad, steak, etc. in a tortilla.

The basic pasta included in the combo menu was Aglio Olio, but it could be changed for an additional fee. I like Aglio Olio, and it was edible, but honestly, it was disappointing. Of course, I shouldn't expect much from a casual restaurant with good value for money, but it was salty and too oily.

Rather, the steak I didn't expect was good. I chose a striploin steak, and it looked pretty good, and the taste was great considering the price range.

I chose medium doneness, and it was almost perfectly cooked. The outside was hard, the inside was soft, and the meat was juicy, so I could enjoy my meal. Of course, because they used cheap ingredients, I couldn't really feel the impact of the meat flavor or taste. To cover this up, I recommend dipping it in the three sauces that came with it.

#2. Casual Dining CHIIK Steak & Pasta Menu
Casual dining CHIIK Steak & Pasta is an attractive restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City where you can enjoy steak and pasta at a reasonable price. They also sell a la carte menus, but the combo menu where you can enjoy steak and pasta together is popular. The atmosphere of the restaurant is good and it is a place where many female customers visit, so they only serve two kinds of red wine, but the rose wine is also served in a variety of types, which was unusual.

I visited alone for dinner on a Saturday evening and ordered as follows:
Combo Menu Striploin Steak: 580,000VND
Suntory Highball: 90,000VND
Tiger Draft Beer: 60,000VND
Including the 8% general VAT and 10% alcohol VAT, the total came to 791,400VND, which was a better-than-expected amount. CHIIK Steak & Pasta is a restaurant with a good atmosphere that young people seem to like to visit, with reasonable prices and a particularly female-friendly feel. It is a good restaurant to visit on a date with your lover or for a family meal with young children.
