#1. District 2, Thao Dien Chinese Restaurant Mandulia Review
Chinese restaurant Mandulia is located in an alley in Thao Dien, District 2, where Pingu's Burger and Mansion Seoin are located. This restaurant is run by a owner from Harbin, and is an attractive restaurant where you can taste a variety of Chinese dishes at reasonable prices. In particular, the handmade dumplings, which are made by hand when an order is received, are a signature menu item that you absolutely must order when visiting this place.

The restaurant is not very large, but there are tables for dining both indoors and outdoors. I was craving Chinese food so I went alone on a Thursday evening to eat, and sat in a corner inside.

I wanted to drink Chinese beer like Tsingtao, but they weren't selling Chinese beer, so I ordered a bottle of cheap Niulanshan Kaoliang Liquor. Despite the high alcohol content of 42 degrees, it was smooth on the palate and had less flavor, but the subtle pineapple flavor typical of kaoliang liquor was attractive.

As my first dish, I ordered Egg Fried Rice. It was a simple Chinese-style fried rice with eggs, green onions, carrots, onions, etc. It was chewy and had a subtle green onion flavor and savory taste that was appealing.

The second dish I ordered was Mapo Tofu. It's a real Sichuan-style mapo tofu with a strong spicy flavor and stimulating. It was a good even if I just ate it, but it was especially delicious when I ate it with fried rice or other dishes.

Certainly, mapo tofu is the most delicious when eaten with fried rice. The combination of the spicy and stimulating Mapo Tofu and the rich and mild fried rice was better than I expected.

The third dish I ordered was Kung Pao Chicken. It was originally a dish of chicken and vegetables stir-fried with chili peppers, with a slightly spicy, sweet and sour taste and the nutty flavor of nuts. It was edible, but unlike what I expected, the taste was ambiguous.

The fourth and final dish was Chives Pork Dumplings(Steam). Mandulia is famous for their delicious dumplings, and they make them right after you order them, which takes more than 20 minutes. The fluffy dumpling skin is filled with chives and pork, giving it a nice texture and a light, well-made taste.

I had a very satisfying meal at Mandulia, which exceeded my expectations. It is a restaurant with reasonable prices, generous portions, and great taste, so there is no reason not to visit.

#2. Chinese Restaurant Mandulia Menu
The Chinese restaurant Mandulia is famous for its delicious dumplings, and they serve four kinds of dumplings cooked in four different ways. In addition to dumplings, they also sell a variety of dishes that come to mind when you think of Chinese food, such as Mapo tofu, egg fried rice, tomato egg stir-fry, sweet and sour pork, and yuxiang shredded pork, at cheaper prices than other Chinese restaurants in the area, which is quite attractive.

I visited for dinner alone on a Thursday evening and ordered as follows:
Chives Pork Dumplings(Steam): 98,000VND
Mapo Tofu: 119,000VND
Egg Fried Rice: 79,000VND
Kung Pao Chicken: 139,000VND
Niulanshan Kaoliang Liquor: 250,000VND
With 8% VAT included, I was able to order food for 2-3 people for a reasonable price of 739,800VND and enjoy a satisfying meal. Mandulia is a Chinese restaurant that has been open for only a short time, but is already famous among foreigners living in Ho Chi Minh as a great Chinese restaurant.
