Popular with young locals in Ho Chi Minh City these days for its delicious pasta and pizza, Today With You is located on the main road of Thao Dien, District 2. Located in a neighborhood known for its high prices in Ho Chi Minh City, the prices not be cheap, but it is an attractive restaurant with a unique atmosphere and decent dishes.
My wife and I made a reservation on a Saturday evening, and we definitely saw a lot of young Vietnamese locals. It's such a popular restaurant that you'll probably have to wait if you visit without a reservation on a weekend evening.
After being guided to a seat by the staff, they set up a small plate, spoon, cup, and pickled radish on the table. The pickled radish here is refreshing and spicy, thanks to the addition of chili peppers. It helps to balance out the greasiness that can come with pizza and pasta.
To go with our meal, my wife ordered the energy drink Sting, and I ordered a glass of white wine Terre Forti Trebbiano Chardonnay. It is an Italian wine, and although it didn't have a strong aroma or flavor, it wasn't bad for a light drink.
The first dish I ordered was the Seasonal Fruit Salad, which came with a yogurt dressing. It consisted of vegetables like lettuce and bell peppers, along with a few fruits like watermelon and dragon fruit, and topped with nuts and cheese powder.
Honestly, it was a decent salad made with inexpensive, unremarkable ingredients, and the portions were generous. As someone who had high expectations, I was honestly disappointed, but it was not bad.
The second dish I ordered was Ragu Pasta. It's one of the restaurant's signature dishes, featuring a whole steak atop ragu pasta. I requested medium-rare steak, and it was cooked to a perfect medium rare.
Considering the price range, they probably used cheaper beef, but it wasn't tough and was decent, and the pasta was surprisingly good. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the rich ragu sauce, generously filled with beef and tomatoes, blended well to create a truly authentic Italian pasta.
For my third dish, I ordered the Shrimp Pesto Pizza. This is also one of their popular signature dishes, it was topped with cheese, basil pesto, shrimp, basil, tomatoes, and onions on a dough. Contrary to my concerns, that looked and tasted great.
The chewy texture of the pizza dough was good, and the unique scent of basil pesto and the flavor of cheese combined to create a rich and deep taste. The shrimp, tomatoes, basil, and onions added flavor and texture, making it more complete than I expected.

Today With You serves pizza, pasta, salad, and other Italian dishes with a Korean twist. Located in a notoriously expensive neighborhood in Ho Chi Minh City, prices aren't exactly cheap, but the unique atmosphere and quality food make it a charming spot.
My wife and I visited on Saturday evening and ordered the following for dinner.
Shrimp Pesto Pizza: 315,000VND
Ragu Pasta: 415,000VND
Seasonal Fruit Salad: 175,000VND
Soft Drink: 40,000VND
Terre Forti Trebbiano Chardonnay: 125,000VND
Including 2% service charge, 8% general VAT, and 10% alcohol VAT, the total bill came to 1,181,262 VND, which is quite high. Today With You is a restaurant where you can taste high-quality pasta and pizza with a Korean touch in Italian style, and it is a popular with many young locals.
