#1. District Binh Thanh Handmade Burger Eat Me, Saigon Review
Handmade burger restaurant Eat Me, Saigon is located in an alley near Nhieu Loc - Thi Nghe Canal, a place where many locals live, next to the City Garden Apartment Complex in District Binh Thanh, Ho Chi Minh City. This small shop, run by a Vietnamese-American owner, offers American-style handmade burgers, hot dogs, Mexican-style nachos and tacos. The prices are quite expensive overall, but they say they use fresh ingredients imported directly from the United States, so if you want to try a real American-style handmade burger, it's not a bad place to visit.

It was a very small restaurant with only three tables, and I had to take off my shoes before going in. I felt the interior was so shabby that I doubted if it was really a restaurant, and it felt very casual and rough.

They only sell two types of beer 333 and Huda canned beer. I ordered Huda. They brought out a cold beer from a green ice box. I sat down, drank my beer, and looked around. I saw alleys where many Vietnamese locals live, and this unexpectedly felt hip.

I ordered the Chips & Willy Chili as a side to go with my burger. Chili is short for chili con carne, not chili from the chili peppers, and it comes on a plate with a spicy Mexican stew made with beef, kidney beans, and chili powder, along with Doritos snacks.

I thought that there was no better beer snack than this slightly spicy yet savory, oily chili con carne on top of Doritos that were already delicious on their own. I made it even more good by adding homemade chili sauce to taste.

For the burger I ordered for my meal, I followed the owner's recommendation and ordered the Signature Vip Burger. It had two beef patties, two slices of cheese, bacon, caramelized onions, a fried egg, and more inside the burger bun, making for a rather violent visual.

It was a proper American burger, greasy, heavy, and full of meat and cheese, with very little vegetables. Still, the caramelized onions and special sauce cut the greasiness well, so I had no trouble finishing it.

#2. Handmade Burger Eat Me, Saigon Menu
The menu at Eat Me, Saigon is a bit familiar if you look at it for a while, but it is not easy to recognize at first glance. They sell burgers, pasta, hot dogs, nachos, tacos, etc. at prices that may seem a bit expensive. The drinks are not cheap either. However, it is a place where you can taste authentic American food made with fresh ingredients airlifted from the United States.

I visited alone for dinner on Thursday night and ordered as follows:
Signature Vip Burger: 420,000VND
Chips & Willy Chili: 180,000VND
Huda Beer: 40,000VND x 3 EA = 120,000VND
The total amount was 720,000VND, which is quite a lot. Eat Me, Saigon is a restaurant that feels ambiguous in terms of cost-effectiveness, but it has the great merit of being able to eat a proper American-style handmade burger made by an American using ingredients imported from the US. In addition to burgers, it also serves a variety of foods such as hot dogs, nachos, tacos, and pasta, so it is worth visiting when you are craving American food.
