#1. District 1, Ben Thanh Market VIP LUXURY Barbershop Review
VIP LUXURY Barbershop is located near a gas station and Nguyen Kim appliance store in the area where have many barbershops across from Ben Thanh Market in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. VIP Barbershop is also right next to it. Among the dozens of barbershops in downtown Ho Chi Minh City, this one is definitely worth a visit, offering the most luxurious interior and excellent service.
VIP LUXURY Barbershop boasts the most luxurious interior of any barbershop in Ho Chi Minh City, and the staff's excellent service is also exceptional. I made a reservation late on a Sunday afternoon, but it was so crowded that I probably wouldn't have been able to get a service without a reservation.
While waiting in the waiting room, I sipped iced tea and waited for my turn. Surrounded by Gundams, Legos, and action figures, the decorations that men would enjoy were a feast for the eyes. It felt like a luxurious hideout for men.
I sat in the waiting room, drinking iced tea, and when it was my turn, I followed the staff to the changing room. Unlike other places, VIP LUXURY Barbershop has single-person rooms, so you can receive service in peace and privacy.
Upon entering the massage room, the staff gave me a board where I could choose the intensity of the massage and the service I wanted. It was the same style as the VIP barbershop next door. It's convenient to mark the services don't want and give them to the staff.
The service was as follows: foot washing -> exfoliation -> shaving -> facial massage -> cucumber pack -> ear cleaning -> nail care -> leg massage -> arm massage -> back massage -> shampoo -> stretching. Unlike other places, here you can receive all the services in one place.
The drying room was separate from the massage room, allowing for a quiet experience during service. The interior was clean, cute, and luxurious, and skincare, lotion, and even wax were available.
In addition to the waiting room and massage room, the hallways and stairwells were also meticulously decorated, giving the entire barbershop a luxurious feel. Even walking around the barbershop was a pleasure.
After finish all service, I changed into my clothes in the changing room, and sat down in the waiting room to enjoy drinks and snacks. There was a wide variety of drinks, including iced tea, coffee, yogurt, and coke, as well as snacks like Choco Pies and jellies.
#2. VIP LUXURY Barbershop - Menu
VIP LUXURY Barbershop offers a basic 90mins service for 600,000VND and a 110mins service for 800,000VND. This price, including tip, is VND100,000 more than the VIP Barbershop next door, making it one of the most expensive in District 1, Ho Chi Minh. However, it's definitely worth it. A four-hand service, performed by two staff, costs 1,100,000VND for 90 mins and 1,300,000VND for 110 mins.
There are nearly twenty barbershops in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, but I personally think VIP LUXURY Barbershop is the best. In Ho Chi Minh, this barbershop has an overwhelming interior and the service is neatly organized from start to finish, so I don't think there will be another barbershop like this one for a while.
