#1. District 5, Top 3 Rice Noodles Restaurant Pho Le Review
Pho Le is a local rice noodles restaurant that is always mentioned as one of the top 3 rice noodles restaurants in Ho Chi Minh. It is located in District 5, where Chinatown is. It is a place that is quite far from the city center, but it is definitely worth a visit, as you can enjoy hearty pho with rich broth and plenty of beef at a reasonable price.

When I arrived at the restaurant a little after 2pm, late for lunch, there were only a few customers eating. When I visit during the usual meal times, there are always a lot of people and I often have to wait at the entrance.

I ordered rice noodles and they came out in less than 5 minutes, because they used various toppings and broths prepared in advance at the food booth at the entrance of the restaurant. Even when there are a lot of people, the food comes out in 10 minutes.

On the table were various sauces such as Hoisin sauce, chili sauce, lime, and sliced chilis. When you order a food, they bring out the vegetables right away, which were in a large plate with culantro, Thai basil, and bean sprouts.

For dinner that day, I ordered Pho Thap Cam(Special Rice Noodles). This is the restaurant's signature menu with various toppings such as raw beef, brisket, meatballs, and tendons. I strongly recommend ordering this.

The rich beef broth had a deep, savory flavor and the various cuts of meat were generous. I could add various vegetables, sliced chilis, and sauces to my taste to make the meal even more delicious.

I ordered Tac Ep Tuoi(Kumquat Juice) as a drink to go with my meal. The drink took longer to come out than the rice noodles. It was too sweet, which is typical Vietnamese style, but it went well with the rice noodles.

#2. Rice Noodle Restaurant Pho Le - Menu
Pho Le, a local rice noodles restaurant, sells several types of rice noodles and a variety of drinks. You can choose ramen noodles instead of regular rice noodles, or order only the broth and toppings without noodles. The prices are a little expensive for a local restaurant, but considering that it is a famous restaurant, it is not bad.

I visited alone for a late Sunday lunch and ordered as follows:
Pho Thap Cam(Special Rice Noodles): 100,000VND
Tac Ep Tuoi(Kumquat Juice): 15,000VND
Kanh Lanh(Wet Wipe): 3,000VND
I was able to have a very satisfying meal for a reasonable price of 118,000VND. Pho Le is located quite far from the city center, and the price is a bit high considering the local prices, but it is still worth visiting because you can taste excellent rice noodles.
